Chamba is a town in Tehri Garhwal district in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is situated at the junction of roads leading from Mussoorie, Rishikesh, Tehri Garhwal Dam/ Lake and New Tehri Garhwal. Its nearby tourist places are Dhanaulti, Surkanda Devi Temple, Ranichauri, New Tehri Garhwal, and Kanatal, midway through Chamba-Dhanaulti road.
Chamba is a hill station destinations which still stand oblivious to most tourists and therefore unspoilt and fresh like a daisy for the lucky few who venture out seeking new places to explore and enjoy Chamba is at an altitude of 1600 mt above sea level. Again really unspoiilt and with lot of pines and deodar and good views.
